Current Medical Education is a series of interactive eLearning modules for GPs, based on breaking global medical news. Developed in partnership with expert GP reviewers, modules are in five languages and target a global audience. A range of topics are covered, including managing migraine in primary care, the role of vitamin D and calcium in fracture prevention, and addressing peanut allergy. The project is provided for univadis, a service from MSD.



The Hong Kong Diabetes Advisory Panel (HKDAP) met to discuss clinical treatment guidelines from the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). Local adaptations to the guidelines are summarized in a newsletter from the HKDAP.  

Health stories frequently make headlines - the recent
Swine Flu pandemic is just one example. In partnership with univadis a service from MSD, International Medical Press has produced factsheets summarising the current situation and up-to-date management recommendations for healthcare professionals and their patients.

GP News Channel is a daily news service for general practitioners provided for univadis a service from MSD. International Medical Press provides newswire searches, editorial, copywriting and liaison with GP faculty. International Medical Press has produced Cantonese language videos on hepatitis B, in collaboration with leading regional gastroenterologists, for use in specialist out-patient departments in Hong Kong hospitals.
