For papers already in peer-review, you will be informed of a decision as soon as possible. All accepted papers not assigned to a 2020 issue will now be published by SAGE.

Archiving Policy

As an author you retain the following non-transferable rights:

Author rights prior to acceptance

♦ Authors have the right to use the article to prepare other derivative works or to reuse portions or excerpts in other works, giving full acknowledgement of its original publication in the journal. Authors cannot reproduce the article for commercial purposes, for their own gain or of that of a third party.
♦ Once submitted to IMP journals, articles must not be discussed with the media until one week before the publication date.

Author rights after acceptance

♦ Authors have the right to post the final accepted version of their article (revised to include changes made in the peer review process, but before editorial input from International Medical Press) on their own personal or departmental website or institutional repository, provided they include a prominent statement to acknowledge copyright, full bibliographic details (i.e., volume, issue and page numbers) upon publication and a link to the journal website once it is published online
♦ A prominent statement about copyright and full bibliographic details (i.e. volume, issue and page numbers) should be included using the following text: "This is the author’s version of a work accepted for publication by International Medical Press. Changes resulting from the publishing process, including peer review, editing and formatting, might not be reflected in this document. A definitive version was published in Antiviral Therapy, (Vol No, Issue No), DATE, ©YEAR International Medical Press."
♦ If funding agency rules apply, authors can post the final accepted version of their research article (revised to include changes made in the peer review process, but before editorial input from International Medical Press) in PubMedCentral no sooner than 12 months after publication in the journal. Should other funding agency rules apply, please contact the Editorial Office.
♦ Authors maintain the right to make hard copies of the final published version of the article for their own purposes, to distribute to colleagues, and for course use by their students. Authors cannot reproduce the article for commercial purposes, for their own gain or of that of a third party
♦ Authors have the right to include the final version of the published article, in full or in part, in a thesis or dissertation.
